    The increase in hospitalizations observed over the past few days continues. 25,282 people with the coronavirus are currently hospitalized in France, or 42 more in 24 hours.

    17,615 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in France in the past 24 hours, according to the latest figures from Public Health France (SpF) published this Wednesday evening, while the massive screening campaigns continue in several cities in France.

    292 deaths have also been recorded in French hospitals, a figure down from the day before, when it stood at 307. The number of deaths due to Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic in hospitals and the medico-social establishments now stands at 59,361 deaths.
