A death of more in the Chaudière-Appalaches

Out of the 58 new deaths announced on Friday by prime minister François Legault, a single from the areas of the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.

At Jeffery Hale, seven new cases were added, bringing the balance to 84 infected people, patrons and staff included.

In the region, more than 150 health professionals in hospital settings of the Quebec city region have already responded favourably to the call of volunteerism in the last days to come and lend a hand to health care teams of the CIUSSS in the National Capital working with the elderly and vulnerable people.

These health workers will support, among others, in one of the 29 NURSING homes in the territory, at new convalescent center located at the Concorde, to units of short-term geriatric (UCDG), as well as private residences for seniors who require additional support.

Areas which are not affected

To the east of Quebec city and Lévis, several administrative regions continue to be little affected by a spread which continues to be relatively low.
