The former wrestler of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Alberto del Rio was arrested Saturday morning in San Antonio and is facing charges of sexual assault against a woman.
His real name is Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, the 42-year-old allegedly slapped the victim in the forehead, and then force them to put on a dress and dance with him. Also, it would have threatened the lady to bring her son in the car and leave it alone in the middle of a road. Court documents obtained by the local network of NBC stipulate that an assault of a sexual nature occurred.
The defendant remained incarcerated until the end of the afternoon and was released with a bail of $50,000.
Having already held the belts in WWE, the native of Mexico has carried out two visits before being released in 2016. Since then, he has worked with Impact Wrestling, and then a few independent federations under the name Alberto El Patron. In the past year, he has made a comeback in the world of mixed martial arts, losing by submission in the first round against Tito Ortiz on December 7, in a gala event of the organization, Combate Americas.
