On Tuesday January 12, negative temperatures were the source of ice, which caused many accidents throughout the Dordogne department.
But in Saint-Léon-sur-l’Isle, it took a tragic turn, as announced by our colleagues from France Bleu Périgord. It was 7:30 am when a car skidded on a patch of ice on the D 6089. It landed below the track. Luckily, its driver was not injured.
Face to face
Unfortunately, a tragedy began a few seconds later, when the motorist regained the road. Unharmed, he saw two cars coming face to face skidding on a patch of ice. The BMW 4 × 4 and a city car probably lost control and collided with each other, almost twice two lanes towards Bordeaux.
