A team of Vaucluse firefighters had a very agitated Christmas in Carpentras reports
The Dispatch. Called this Friday to rescue an injured man, the firefighters were shot by the individual when he arrived at his home.
The man said he was injured in the ribs due to the fall of a closet, although suspicions of voluntary violence weigh. The intervention of the firemen would have immediately annoyed him and he would have agitated himself and seized his rifle.
The firefighters then fled with the gunman’s wife and son and managed to lock the man in his apartment. The latter would still have managed to fire five to six shots.
The Raid de Marseille was then called in for reinforcement and managed to calm the individual. No one was hurt.
A fault ?
