While they no longer have the right to welcome customers to the table, due to the epidemic crisis, many restaurants offer take-out or home delivery. But for consumers, it is sometimes difficult to find the informations : which restaurants offer these services, which dishes can you order? The answers can be found on the jemangeamimizan.fr website, which is also available as an application on Android phones.
This is a free site for restaurant owners who register, and free for users as well. It provides all the information on restaurants offering take-away meals or home delivery in the Mimizan sector (Landes): times, lists and prices of dishes, delivery or collection methods, etc.
The jemangeamimizan.fr site does not allow direct online ordering, but gives the restaurant phone number (or a link to the restaurant’s Facebook page or website), thus allowing customers to order.
The site was launched on the initiative of two local businesses, the Weldom DIY store in Mimizan, which covered the costs, and the startup Netilien, created by Kevin Desmidts, who designed the website. “Restaurant owners need visibility during this period, to communicate differently from their habits. We tried to help them, as much as possible, to relieve themselves of this weight»Specifies Kevin Desmidts.
