The Shevchenkovsky district court of Kiev cancelled the house arrest of the former head of the security Service of Ukraine in Kiev and region the General-major Alexander Shchegolev, who is accused of crimes against Euromaidan. This was reported on Facebook page of the Bar Advisory group.

“Alexander Shchegolev only that the court has released on personal bond. Still he was under round-the-clock house arrest with an electronic bracelet,” – said in a post on the social network.

Prosecutor Alexander Suprun explained that the requirement to change the measure of restraint the defence for the accused argued the need Shchegolev departure outside Ukraine for treatment.
