Olivier Andris becomes CEO of Safran
As planned for more than a year, Safran’s Board of Directors has appointed Olivier Andris to the post of Group Chief Executive Officer from January 1. He will also become a director. Former Managing Director of Turbomeca and currently Managing Director of Safran Aircraft Engines, he will succeed Philippe Petitcolin.

ATR delivers the first ATR 72-600F FedEx Express
ATR celebrated the delivery of its first aircraft designed specifically for the freighter this week. The ATR 72-600F was handed over to FedEx Express, the program launch customer. It will be operated by ASL Airlines Ireland (a FedEx operator) from Shannon. The American company had committed to thirty copies of the device in 2017 (and twenty options).
