An Alouettes player retires

Un joueur des Alouettes prend sa retraite

The rusher James Wilder son has never had the opportunity to play a match with the Montreal Alouettes, because he announced his retirement on Wednesday.

According to TSN, the 27-year-old spoke of the uncertainty surrounding the season 2020 of the canadian football League (CFL) to justify its decision. He has accepted a coaching position within the education institution to which it has evolved in Tampa and will lead a fitness center in Florida.

Wilder’s son had signed a contract with the Sparrows during the winter after three years with the Toronto Argonauts. In 2019, he has totaled 879 yards in the offense, including 464 on the ground. He was part of the training that won the Grey cup in 2017.
