The former wrestler of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Shad Gaspard died at the age of 39 years, his body was discovered along a shore at Venice Beach, California, Wednesday morning.
The victim was bathing at the beach in the company of his son of 10 years old when he was swept away by the strong current of the water after being submerged by a wave on Sunday afternoon. His wife Siliana had confirmed his disappearance on his account Instagram the next day.
“Admired by his friends and colleagues for his humour and his good mood, Gaspard is no stranger to heroic acts. In 2016, he stopped an armed robbery at Coral Springs, Florida, when he stopped the suspect on the ground before the arrival of the police”, was keen to remind the WWE in a press release.
Gaspard began his stay in the WWE in 2006, four years after the beginning of his career. He is best known, alongside his partner JTG when the two men formed the duo Cryme Tyme. It left the federation in 2010 to become an actor. The ex-wrestler has particularly been seen in “Brothers” and “Think Like a Man Too”.
