Several Apple Music, App Store, and iTunes users have problems with online services, problems that Apple is aware of and is trying to rectify.
Posts on social media, including Twitter, indicate that there are problems with three major Apple services, including iTunes, Apple Music, and the App Store. The tweets have been aware saying there is problems listen to music and download applications.
DownDetector checks by Me more indicate problems with all three services they began on Saturday afternoon around 1 pm ET. It also appears that all three services fell around the same time, although it is unclear how many people are actually affected.
From Apple System status warns that there are ongoing outages for both the iTunes Store and the App Store, both of which are said to be “slow or unavailable,” and that “some users are affected.” Apple Music is not currently flagged by Apple as experiencing an outage at press time.
Both services were also affected by an earlier outage that caused slow and irregular access from Thursday to Friday, which may be related to the current situation.
