Armenia and China signed an agreement on the abolition of visas

The foreign Ministers of Armenia and China Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and van And during the meeting in Yerevan signed an agreement on mutual abolition of visa requirements, according to the website of the foreign Ministry of the Transcaucasian Republic.

The two countries abolished visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports. Citizens of both States will be able to visit each other’s homes for 180 days. Now mutual tourism interests between the two countries has increased significantly. Last year Armenia was visited by almost 8.5 thousand Chinese. Approximately the same number of Armenians have gone in 2018 to China.

In addition, the foreign Ministers of the two countries signed the extradition Treaty between Yerevan and Beijing, as well as the Protocol between the Ministry of agriculture of Armenia and customs Department of the PRC “On food safety and veterinary and phyto-sanitary norms exported from Armenia to China, honey.”

Foreign Minister Wang Yi is in Armenia on two-day working visit. It will be held in Yerevan meeting with the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other officials. Earlier visit to Beijing has committed itself Pashinyan.
