European business sees the benefits of mutual economic sanctions imposed by Europe and Russia. This opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the European Association of chambers of Commerce (of Eurochambres), Christoph Leitl, reports DW with reference to the German press.
According to Sitla, mutual economic restrictive measures are not useful. This opinion was shared by members of Eurochambres, which includes about 20 million companies.
“It is time for steps to reduce sanctions on both sides and focus on the benefits of cooperation between Europe and Russia, instead of against each other,” he said.The President of Eurochambres reminded that Russia is a partner with which the Europeans should engage in dialogue in the economic, political, cultural and sports fields.
