On November 28-29, Baku will host discussions between Azerbaijan and European Union (EU) in the country on the results of monitoring in education.
As reported by SalamNews, the Azerbaijani side in the debate will be attended by senior representatives of the Ministry of education, the EU head of delegation, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas.
Within the discussion of the results of the “programme of support to education the EU” in Azerbaijan will be presented with appropriate recommendations.
Annual action programme of the European Union for 2014 (AAP 2014) for Azerbaijan includes support for education and training in the amount of approximately 19 million euros. It also includes support for reforms in vocational education and training, the development and implementation of National qualifications frameworks, as well as the scheme of grants for the modernization of the multifunctional training centres in Gabala, Ismayilli, Gakh, Ganja, Jalilabad and Barda.
