The national Bank conducted a survey among credit managers 50 banks and found that in the next 12 months, bankers expect a revival of crediting of business and population.
In July-September, the banks noted increased demand for consumer loans among the population. The legal entity actively issued short-term loans and trust loans for SMEs. This contributed to reducing the cost of borrowing.
Bankers upbeat on prospects for the resumption of corporate lending. The balance of responses was 53%. This is the best result for all history of observations since the beginning of 2015.
The level of risk in the third quarter remained virtually unchanged, although a third of respondents still reported a slight increase in credit risk.
However, Bank managers still believe that in the fourth quarter, most notably to increase foreign exchange risk, and credit will decrease.
Recall that the NBU carried out a survey among the heads of Ukrainian companies, and found that in the third quarter of the enterprise has improved expectations about economic growth in Ukraine and predict a decline in inflation.
