The general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jason Licht, is confident that the association between quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bruce Arians will allow his training to be aspiring to the Super Bowl in 2020.
The DG believes that the two men have the same sense of urgency.
“To be honest, we have a head coach that will not be there in 15 or 20 years. I think we have a perfect marriage, said Licht to the network ESPN. We have two guys who have something to prove, they want to win now. They are in the same state of mind.”
As much Brady as Arians are in the last moments of their career in the NFL. The first is 42 years old and wants to prove that he is capable of winning without wearing the uniform of the Patriots of New England. For its part, the second was 67 years old and has never won the Super Bowl as a head coach. It is also out of retirement after the season 2017 to take the helm of the Buccaneers.
“Frankly, to have been able to bring Tom here, this is due to the hiring of Bruce last year, said the DG of the Buccaneers. I don’t know if we would be in this situation if Bruce Arians was not our head coach. They live somewhat parallel lives at the moment. They have something to prove and they want to do it now.”
