Rock musician Vyacheslav Butusov has the title of “Honored artist of the Russian Federation”. The decree signed by President Vladimir Putin, published on the official portal of legal information.
“Assign the honorary title “Honored artist of the Russian Federation” Butusov Vyacheslav Gennad’evich – artist of the limited liability company “Yu-Piter””, – the document says.
Vyacheslav Butusov, learning from the first year of the Sverdlovsk architectural Institute, together with Dmitry Mackim created the group Nautilus Pompilius. For 15 years, from 1982 to 1997, the band released 12 albums. In 2001 Butusov gathered the band “Yu-Piter”, on account of its five Studio albums. In March 2017, the team has completed its work.
Butusova songs became soundtracks to the films “Brother”, “Brother-2”, “War”, “hide and seek”, “Needle Remix”. In 2011, the musician was awarded the order “For merits before Fatherland” the fourth degree – for his great contribution to the development of art and many years of creative activity.
