Capitale-Nationale: six morts en quatre jours dans un CHSLD

Six people are dead COVID-19 since July 2, the CHSLD Gardens of the Upper St. Lawrence river, to Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.

The CIUSSS in the National Capital announced on Monday the confirmation of 10 new positive cases and 6 new deaths since the publication of its last balance sheet date on 2 July at 16h. The six deaths all occurred in the same place. In total, 38 people have died since the beginning of the crisis in the Gardens, the Upper St. Lawrence river.

In this institution only, 89 users and 108 employees were infected, for a total of 197 cases.

For the region as a whole, this brings the total to 1861 people infected and 185 deaths.

Public health also announced the lifting of the outbreaks at the residence The Gardens of Evangeline, as well as the Clearing of the Wooded area.

In the designated hospitals of the region, responsible for the East-of-Quebec, there are currently 9 hospitalizations and no cases to the intensive care unit.

The government declined on the weekly balance sheet report. The balance sheet daily will now be published Monday to Friday and will break on weekends and holidays.
