Find the North has been shot and done before she is elected in the county of Taschereau in 2018. The member of parliament for Québec solidaire wishes, with the presentation of this film of 25 minutes, to participate in the offering of cultural products that are put online at this time.

This initiative is in line with the events of the constituency that the mp can no longer hold in a situation of containment.

“It is necessary to continue to meet during the detachment, it is important to keep this human contact. If we can’t get together in my local, why not take the opportunity to get together with our neighbors that we forget too often?” she said, in a press release, referring to the innu community.

The documentary Find the North is interested in a resilient people, who, despite the enormous shock, has continued to keep the laughter at the heart of his life. It discusses the cultural loss and the desire for reconstruction.
