Chambre de la sécurité financière: Richard David et Denis Ouellet radiés pour deux mois

The discipline committee of the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF), has written off Richard David and Denis Ouellet to a two-month period.

The financial expert, Richard David pleaded guilty to all the leaders of the offence contained in the disciplinary complaint, said Thursday the Chamber in a press release.

Mr. David was found guilty of having made a sign in white a “declaration of applicant” and a “form of signatures” to one of its customers, and two “transfer authorizations of investments registered and non-registered” and an “investor profile” to another customer.

The offences took place at Three Rivers, between 27 may 2011 and 22 August 2017, has added.

In regards to Denis Ouellet, he also removed temporarily for eight weeks, he pleaded guilty to all counts of the offence contained in the disciplinary complaint. It has recognized that “providing false information to the insurer on an insurance proposal” and “not to have acted in advisor conscientious in telling his client that she could cancel his insurance contract before the date of entry into force of its new contract, causing a risk of discovery”, a-t was specified.

In his case, the events took place in Terrebonne between (or about) June 12, 2018 and (or about) July 16, 2018.

The cancellation of MESSRS. David and Ouellet will enter into force on the expiry of the period of appeal, which, usually, is 30 days, but in the context of health, “the counting will begin from 1st of September”, has informed the FSB.
