Charlie Bilodeau and Lubov Ilyushechkina will not be at the World championships in Montreal

The Quebec Charlie Bilodeau and his partner Lubov Ilyushechkina will not participate in the test in a couple of world Championships of figure skating, which will be presented in Montreal from 16 to 22 march.

Skate Canada has unveiled the names of the skaters who will represent the country at this prestigious event.

Canadian champions Kirsten Moore-Towers and Michael Marinaro, as well as the vice-national champions Evelyn Walsh and Trennt Michaud, obtained their ticket for the event as a couple.

Dance Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Nikolaj Sorensen will complete the canadian contingent. Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier, just as Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Ngeng, had already obtained their qualification.

For the ladies, Alicia Pineault will also participate in the competition. Quebec’s 20-year-old was ranked fourth at the canadian Championships last month. A second canadian skater will be selected shortly.

Finally, on the male side, Canada will be represented by Nam Nguyen.
