Hollywood actress of South African origin Charlize Theron is considering the possibility of emigration from the United States because, according to her, racism in the administration of Donald trump.
“I don’t even know what to say about our new administration over the past year. But racism has become much more than expected people. We can no longer deny it. We must say this as loudly as possible,” said Theron in an interview with women’s magazine Elle.
For this reason, the actress claims that she fears for the lives of their adoptive black children.
“In this country there are places where, if I had to work, I would not. I would not mill to take their children to some places in America. This is really problematic. I often look at my children and think that if this continues, I may have to move because the last thing I wanted is that my children didn’t feel safe,” she said.
Charlize Theron has admitted that the final decision on this matter is not adopted, but discusses with his sons the opportunity.
“They should know that they are treated differently than me and how unfair this is. And if there’s anything I can do about it, of course, I’m going to do it,” she added.
However, it is worth noting that Charlize Theron is not the first representative of the American film industry, which has expressed willingness to leave the United States because of Donald trump. Earlier the same was said of her colleagues Miley Cyrus, Samuel L. Jackson and Barbra Streisand.
