CNN anchor Jake Tapper spoke in a new interview this week to state that he is “not a liberal Democrat” and does not advocate for the reelection of President Joe Biden.
Tapper attacks Republican ‘liars’
While talking to Mother jones, Tapper redoubled his ban on Republican “liars” from his program who challenged the validity of Biden’s election victory.
“Electoral lies are lies. It is no less a lie than saying that the moon landing was false or that the Holocaust did not happen or that Bush knew about 9/11 and let it happen. These are offensive ideas, ”Tapper said. “Look, people lost their lives [on Jan. 6]. The truth is that we are lucky that no more people died. And that’s why I think it’s incredibly negligent for journalists to just pick up and move on. “
“I feel really uncomfortable with the idea of letting these people walk away from this as if what happened on January 6 had not happened, as if they had not played any role,” added the CNN personality.

Tapper claims he is ‘not a liberal democrat’
When asked what gives him “hope” that the United States can one day come together, Tapper replied that lawmakers need to find out what is “important” to them: “their own individual quest for power, or the country?”
Look, I’m not a liberal democrat. I’m not advocating for Joe Biden to be re-elected, ”Tapper said. “I think it is important that these nefarious lies are denounced.”
It should be noted that Tapper spent virtually the entire presidency of former President Donald Trump attacking him on a daily basis. He was also quick to celebrate Biden’s victory, declaring that “the long national nightmare is over,” according to Fox News.

Tapper is excited about Biden’s win
“It is a time of several significant and totally avoidable failures, most tragic, of course, the unwillingness to respect the facts and science and do whatever can be done to save lives during a pandemic,” Tapper said on CNN days after Election Day.
“It has been a time when truth and facts were treated with disdain. It was a time of cruelty where inhumanities such as the separation of children became the shameful policy of the United States, ”he continued.
“But now the Trump presidency is coming to an end, to an end, with so many wasted opportunities and potential ruined, but also an era of sheer pettiness,” Tapper added. “It must be said, paraphrasing President Ford, to tens of millions of our fellow citizens: their long national nightmare is over.”
