Air Canada remained in June the foreign airline with the most complaints from consumers in the United States.
Canada's largest carrier was the subject of 1,043 complaints in June, good for number one among foreign airlines, according to the United States Department of Transportation. In total, this represents almost 13% of the 8,100 complaints made against non-U.S. Carriers in the United States.
Including American companies, Air Canada was second only to United Airlines, which registered 1,536 complaints in June.
The vast majority of consumer complaints against Air Canada relate to reimbursements for tickets purchased.
In May, Air Canada was also leading in complaints from foreign airlines and second overall behind United.
