Concert without an audience: the OSQ recovery activities

Concert sans public: l’OSQ relance ses activités

The Quebec symphony Orchestra, relaunching its activities. The ensemble will present a concert without an audience on July 17, under the direction of chef Nicolas Ellis.

The show, which will take place in the salle Louis-Fréchette of the Grand Théâtre de Québec, will be posted on the page Facebook of the SOQ.

The Orchestra will perform excerpts from Peer Gynt by Grieg, 1st movement of the 2nd Symphony of Brahms, and the last movement of the 5th Symphony of Beethoven.

This first digital broadcast is part of a summer program which will run for six weeks.

The SOQ will be joined to the Violons du Roy for the presentation of a mini-festival at the Palais Montcalm on 31 July and 1 August. Works by Beethoven, Schumann and Claude Champagne and Jacques Hétu will be broadcast on the social networks of the Violons du Roy and the OSQ.
