HAVANA | Cuba put in isolation all the tourists present on the island on Tuesday to the entry into force of the partial closure of the borders for a month, announced Monday the prime minister, Manuel Marrero, as the country has 40 cases of coronavirus.
“All the tourists still present in the hotels are placed in solitary confinement […], they can not get out of the hotel” until you find a flight to return home, he declared to the television.
He stated that 32 500 foreign tourists were on Monday in Cuba.

Other measures announced on Monday : closure of schools during a month, a gesture unprecedented since the socialist revolution of 1959, which has made education and health as its two pillars.
