The epidemic of coronavirus has killed at least 19 323 deaths in France since the beginning of march, 642 more in 24 hours, but the number of patients in the hospital and in the icu continues its recession, said Saturday the directorate-general of Health.

A total of 11 842 deaths were recorded in hospitals (+364) and 7481 (+278) in the attending nursing homes (Ehpad) and other medico-social establishments, specified the DGS in a press release.

The number of patients hospitalized for an infection in the COVID-19 was Saturday at 30.639, with a declining balance of 551.
