COVID-19: 21 340 morts en France, +544 décès en 24 heures

The outbreak of the COVID-19 killed 21 340 people in France since the beginning of march, of which 544 deaths registered since Tuesday, but the pressure on hospitals continues to decrease, with now two weeks of decline in the number of patients in the intensive care unit, announced on Wednesday the director general of Health.

In total, 13 of 236 people have died in the hospital, or 336 more in 24 hours, and 8104 in medical retirement homes and other medico-social establishments (+208), said Jerome Solomon during his daily press briefings. There are now 5218 patients in the intensive care unit, almost 2000 less than two weeks ago.
