Two individuals working in major league baseball have suffered from the COVID-19, according to information reported Monday by the New York Post.
According to the daily, a pitching coach and an athlete as part of the training of 40 players in training have been affected since the beginning of the pandemic. The identity of the victims, however, has not been unveiled.
The instructor would be fully recovered, while the player would have been reached more recently, without, however, having transmitted the coronavirus to other actors in the world of baseball.
Earlier in the day, the official site of the NFL network, and ESPN reported that many of the players of the football league had also been declared positive, and this has raised concerns among the coaches of the circuit.
