A third player from the organization to the Colorado Avalanche got a positive result on a screening test of the COVID-19.
The national hockey League (NHL) made the announcement Tuesday, stating that the Avalanche had heard the news in the morning. The player’s identity has not been revealed.
“The player is in quarantine and has not had close contact with another player or a member of the team”, one can read in the short press release.
Friday, Nazem Kadri had announced that the first two players to get this verdict had fully recovered from the illness.
Two players, the Ottawa Senators have also been affected by the coronavirus.
The NHL has suspended its activities on march 12, to participate in the efforts in the fight against the pandemic that is rampant in the four corners of the world.
