Six of the major carriers inter-regional coach of the province urging the government to give them the green light to resume their activities and the granting of financial assistance to help them get through the crisis of the COVID-19.

After more than six weeks of the judgments of their activities, Orléans Express, Intercar Autobus Maheux, Limocar Transdev, Bus Galland and Buses Breton say they are still waiting for the agreement of the government to kick-start their buses on the road.

By fear of not being profitable because of the actions of distanciations physical that would limit the number of passengers in their vehicle, they asked the government to help financially.

Otherwise, “this will have the effect of weakening the transport network between the regions in Quebec, by the loss of connections within the regions and between the regions of Quebec ; routes on which many citizens rely for their displacement,” they write in a statement released Monday.
