Health Canada warns Canadians against health products with false claims and misleading claims to prevent, treat, or cure the COVID-19.
It is to be expected. Products “miracles” are increasing and many people want to believe in.
According to a press release from Health Canada, if you have purchased such health products, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional if you have any questions
Among the range of products for which the agency has found the allegations false and misleading, include some masks, colloidal silver, disinfectant, elixirs and formulas based on plants, hand sanitizers, mixtures of mushrooms Chaga, lamps ultraviolet light and even oil of oregano.
The federal government continues to monitor Web sites to identify these illegal goods or questionable.
