The Golden Knights will be handing over 7,500 free meals to doctors, nurses, and other employees of the hospital centres of the region of Las Vegas.
The team of the national League has been able to make this gesture, thanks to the donations made to his foundation, as well as with the financial participation of several of its skaters.
“The health professionals of Las Vegas are struggling against [the COVID-19] to ensure the safety of our families and our community. They are true examples of what it means to be a knight, said the president of the foundation of the Golden Knights, Kim Frank, in a news release issued Sunday. We are proud to show our support to those who work in health in the Las Vegas area by providing thousands of meals.”
From Monday, the hockey team will provide 300 meals per day, five days per week, in several hospital centres. The initiative will last for a minimum of five weeks.
