COVID-19: three new deaths and 100 more cases in Quebec

COVID-19: trois nouveaux décès et 100 cas supplémentaires au Québec

Three new deaths, 100 additional cases and new hospitalizations have increased Friday, the sad balance sheet of the COVID-19 in Quebec.

In the last 24 hours, two new deaths have been recorded, but it is necessary to add a loss of life which occurred before July 2, for a total of 5612 died in the province since the beginning of the pandemic.

The number of hospitalizations is on the rise while nine more are reported for a total of 317. Among these, 24 are in the intensive care, a decrease of three.

170 new cases in Ontario

Ontario, for its part, reported Friday that 170 new cases of COVID-19, the largest number among the canadian provinces.

Newfoundland-and-Labrador, for its part, reported a first case of COVID-19 in a month Friday, bringing the total to 262. Of this number, three people died.
