Russia has put forward to US address “serious allegations”, reports Das Erste. In particular, Moscow has accused Washington in a real theft and oil smuggling in especially large sizes in the East of Syria, said the German channel.

In particular, Moscow has accused Washington of stealing oil in especially large sizes in the East of Syria, says German TV channel.

As stated by the official representative of the Ministry of defense of Russia major-General Igor Konashenkov, the United States has been in Syria the real “international state gangsterism”.

This Konashenkov not only accused the U.S. of illegal mining and export of oil outside of Syria but provided satellite images, which, on assurances of the Russian defense Ministry, confirmed the smuggling of oil by the American side, said Das Erste.

The other day, reminiscent of the TV channel in Washington announced that the United States will transfer additional units to guard oil fields in Eastern Syria allegedly by militants of the “Islamic state”*.

“Their charges, the Russian defense Ministry thus denied the version of Washington that American troops are protecting the oil fields from Islamist terrorists and “other destabilizing players,” — emphasizes the channel.

According to Igor Konashenkov, USA “seized and held under armed control,” the oil fields in Eastern Syria. This contradicts not only international law, but even American law, stated official representative of the Ministry of defense of Russia.

In addition, oil production in Eastern Syria the United States is pursuing bypass its own sanctions, said the major-General.
