Warning: This is beyond disturbing, even harder to watch than the first video. “Get off of his neck! He’s not moving!” “You’re going to let him kill that man in front of you?” Tou Thao stood guard as Derek Chauvin MURDERED George Floyd … while witnesses of the execution, tried to stand up for JUSTICE, tried to save George’s life! The protest of those bystanders, who refused to just stand by and let it happen, has reverberated around the world — fueling our protest against injustice and police brutality!! 8 minutes 46 seconds. The four ex-officers MUST be convicted of MURDER for this hideous atrocity! They MUST all be held accountable!! #icantbreathe #georgefloyd #justiceforgeorgefloyd
The agent Thao did not flinch in front of the growing crowd, making sure only to keep a good distance away from the current intervention.
This is Ben Crump, the lawyer who represents the family of Mr. Floyd, who posted the video on Instagram.
“It is even more disturbing, and even more difficult to watch than the first video, wrote Crump. Tou Thao has mounted the guard while Derek Chauvin HAS MURDERED George Floyd… while the witnesses to the execution tried to defend the law, attempted to save George’s life!”
Another person has attempted to plead with the officer to check if he could still feel the pulse of George Floyd – a thing which will not be made towards the end of the video has a length of approximately six minutes, while the victim is placed on a stretcher.
Chauvin, Thao, and two other police officers have since been dismissed by the police of Minneapolis. The men are facing numerous criminal charges, including one for murder.
Seen by thousands of people around the globe, the tragic event triggered a wave of protests around the world.
