A few days of the launch of his biography, entitled The head high, the former pitcher for the Montreal Expos and commentator Derek Aucoin is confided to Dave Morissette, Saturday, broadcast on TVA Sports.
Diagnosed with cancer in the brain in the month of August last year, Aucoin will address the new reality and the support that it receives, in particular from the sports community.
This first television interview since announcing his diagnosis will be broadcast on Saturday 21 march at 22: 15, and then broadcast again on Sunday 22 march at 18h.
During this interview, the former player in major league baseball will also share anecdotes that occurred over the course of his career.
Written by journalist Benoit Rioux of the QMI Agency and published by The Éditions de l’homme, The head high will be in bookstores on Tuesday, march 24.
The book traces the career of Derek Aucoin, who joined the Expos in 1996, and some of his pivotal encounters, including one with his idol, Andre Dawson.
