Dogs trained to detect the COVID-19

Des chiens entraînés pour détecter la COVID-19

In Britain, dogs are trained to detect the symptoms of the COVID-19, even in those who do not.

British researchers are hoping that the end of smell of the dogs may help spot the disease, CNN reported.

The School of hygiene and tropical medicine in London has been working with dogs specially trained.

The organization has recently discovered that dogs can detect malaria in humans and believes that they could do the same with the COVID-19.

The training started last march and expected to take about six weeks.

If the program is a success, the dogs could test up to 250 people per hour.

Dogs do not, however, go to replace traditional tests, but rather be a supplement.

We could use it in public places, such as airports, in order to prevent new outbreaks.
