The players of Real Salt Lake weren’t going to laugh in their first match of the tournament of the Major League Soccer (MLS). They have disposed of the Rapids su Colorado by a score of 2 to 0 Sunday in Orlando.
Albert Rusnak opened the scoring for the winners in the middle of the first half. His shot was touched by the goalkeeper, before hitting a second opposing player to finally make his way in the back of the net.
Damir Kreilach doubled the lead of his own, while he remained a little less than 15 minutes to play in the match, with a shot along the ground which has found a way into the opponent’s goal.
The Real would have even been able to finish the meeting with a lead of three goals on its opponents, but the keeper of the Rapids, Clint Irwin, has made a stop lecture on a penalty shot in the 71st minute, preventing Rusnak to register a brace.
It is, therefore, to say that Minnesota United throne at the top of the standings of group D with a harvest of three points, as the Minnesota United, while the Rapids and Sporting Kansas City have no point.
