Emmanuel Macron will on Sunday, at 20 hours of TF1 and LCI’s first major television interview as president. This live interview of an hour will give him the opportunity to defend its fiscal policy and social. “We consider that it is an opportune moment to explain his action before the French, because it is a space hinge : a chapter closes (orders) and another opens (learning, training, unemployment insurance),” said the Elysée.

Since his arrival, Emmanuel Macron had chosen to keep their distance from the press, avoiding television interviews. He had not given the traditional interview of July 14. Unlike some of his predecessors, he has never given either of great press conference.

The surprising winner of the presidential election will be questioned in his office at the Elysée palace by David Pujadas, Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Birch in an interview format for the classical head of State.

After his fall in the polls this summer, Emmanuel Macron has finally decided to speak out more in the press since the start of the year. It was granted at the end of August an interview to the magazine The Point to explain his action.

This summer, he had been given only two interviews : one to eight French and european papers (Le Figaro for France), focused on his projects of reform of Europe, the other in West-France and the twelve daily German group Funke.
