Defense Minister of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk shared the results of the visit to Estonia.
Estonia and Ukraine signed a Declaration of intent to cooperate in the field of territorial defense. This was announced by the Minister of defense of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk.
The document was agreed by the Minister of defence of Estonia jüri Luico and the Minister of defense of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk yesterday, November 26, during his working visit to Estonia, headed by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. Zagorodnyuk said that Estonia is already helping to reform the defense capability of the Ukrainian state. In addition, the country rehabilitate our wounded servicemen: 160 Ukrainian soldiers were there.
According to Zagorodnyuk important was to hold talks with Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid and different specialists about the vectors of cooperation between Ukraine and Estonia. In particular, the Ukrainians drew attention to the country’s expertise in the development of cybersecurity. So, Estonia in April 2007 has undergone a powerful cyber attack, and now it successfully operates the Center of excellence of NATO on cyber security, which forms the practices of prevention and response for the countries-members of NATO. The Ukrainians discussed the experience of the creation of the Estonian Union of defense and agreed to implement a pilot project at Estonian model in the Kherson region.
