According to the Minister, talks on deepening cooperation are ongoing with a number of other countries, particularly with Israel, Egypt and India. Gross noted that in addition to the free trade zone there are many other effective formats of cooperation.
Member of the Board also added that in the current year may be the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation of the Eurasian economic community with Indonesia.
It is worth noting that in April a member of the Board for trade of the EEC Veronika Nikishina announced the completion of negotiations on the FTA with Serbia, adding that a relevant agreement could be signed in October. Nikishin noted that the Commission is on the verge of concluding negotiations with Singapore.
“And if we show patience and will, focused on results, we also this year want to sign the agreement,” – said the Minister.
