General Dynamics European Land Systems-Mowag, a Swiss subsidiary of General Dynamics – 5th December 2019 reported that November 18 was awarded a contract by the Swiss defence procurement Agency Amie for the supply of the Swiss army 100 combat reconnaissance machines based on the new wheeled armored vehicle Eagle 6×6, reports bmpd. Thus the Swiss army became the launch customer for the armored car Eagle 6×6, representing a three-axle variant produced by General Dynamics European Land Systems-Mowag Eagle armoured vehicles V with the wheel formula 4×4 with enhanced mine protection (was purchased by Denmark and Germany). The parameters of the contract were not disclosed, the delivery of machinery Eagle 6×6 Swiss army will be incurred from 2023 to 2025.
