Enterprises of the state concern “Ukroboronprom” has reduced volumes of export to $451 million a year compared with $900 million in 2013, said the General Director of state concern aivaras Abromavicius at the meeting with participation of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in Kharkiv on Wednesday.
“The most important reform that we have already launched the reform exporters… Reduce the number of exporting companies: from 6 to 2 at the initial stage,” — said Abromavicius, quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that to remedy the situation, this area is designated “veteran movement” Mikhail Morozov, who for more than 10 years was head of ISTIL group and has significant experience in management of special exporters, in particular GP “Progress”.
The General Director of “Ukroboronprom” noted that the state is engaged in the export of 1,500 people, whereas in a Turkish company with exports to $300 million per year — 80.
“People sit in the center of Kiev, it is unclear what they do. Demotiviruet those people who will remain to work with us, because every time you go abroad, have to blush,” he described the current situation and plans Abromavicius.
As an example, he cited his recent trip to Peru and told of the criticism from the colleagues of the South American countries: “Guys, hard to pronounce your name: “Ukroboronprom”, “Spetstechnoexport”, “UkrSpetsExport”… You are all running around, each with two agents, lower prices for its producers.”
The General Director of “Ukroboronprom” emphasized that such incivility and lack of coordination within the group must stop.
