Already without several important players, the Denver Broncos announced Monday that their wide receiver Courtland Sutton is suffering from a tear in one of his anterior cruciate ligaments.
The 24-year-old suffered the injury on Sunday in his team's 26-21 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
During this meeting, he had caught three passes for 66 yards.
During that game, Denver also lost the services of their quarterback Drew Lock. The latter is injured in the rotator cuff of his right shoulder and will miss three to five weeks of activities.
The Broncos also have to cope without linebacker Von Miller and running back Phillip Lindsay. The former could miss the entire season, while the latter will be absent for several weeks.
Next Sunday, the Broncos face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
