Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said on Thursday that it would withdraw about 700 000 sports cars worldwide because faulty electrical connection can prevent engine start or stop.
Recall that in a statement, Fiat Chrysler said that the recall is covering the 2011-2013 model year SUVs Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee, will be eliminated silicon deposits on the contact points of the fuel pump relay to interrupt electric current.
He said he was not aware of any injuries or accidents related to the faulty vehicles.
Italian-American automaker had previously withdrawn most of these same SUVs in 2014 and 2015 due to problems with their fuel pump relay.
The company, which last month announced its intention to unite with the owner of PSA Peugeot said later will notify owners when they can schedule the repair at dealerships.
