The Molotov – Ribbentrop Pact was concluded for ten years on August 23, 1939. It was signed by the foreign Ministers of the Soviet Union and Germany, Vyacheslav Molotov and Joachim von Ribbentrop. Under the agreement, countries agreed not to attack each other, not to make alliances with other, if one of the parties enters into a war with the third to be neutral.
