Remember that Vegas is exempt from the expansion draft (you do not receive any expansion fee, so you do not lose a player for #MarKraken).
Cody Glass, just moved to Nashville, does not require expansion protection. Nolan Patrick would have.

New Flyers defender Ellis has spent the past decade in Nashville, averaging more than 20 minutes a night for the past six seasons and breaking the 30-point plateau five times. He scored 18 points in 35 games last season, averaging 23:46 per night.
Patrick is heading to Las Vegas after three tumultuous seasons in Philadelphia, who selected the young center as second overall in 2017. A migraine disorder limited Patrick’s playing time during his tenure on the Flyers, but the former standout from the WHL had 70 points in its 137 games with the Philadelphia colors. .
After parting ways with one of their coveted veteran defenders, the Predators finish off Myers and Glass. The former has 115 NHL games on his resume with the Flyers, in which he has posted 29 points, while Glass has 22 career points through 66 games with the Golden Knights.
