Allemagne – Schalke
Schalke 04 formalized this Sunday the arrival of Swiss Christian Gross on the bench. Its mission: to straighten out the Bundesliga’s red lantern.
Last, four points, no victory: it’s an understatement to say that Schalke had a chaotic first part of the Bundesliga season. After the dismissal of Manuel Baum in mid-December, the Ruhr club has, as expected, formalized this Sunday the arrival of Christian Gross on the bench. He is already the club’s third coach this season (Gross and Baum, therefore, as well as David Wagner, in 2019-2020 and at the start of the 2020-2021 fiscal year).
The Swiss Gross (66) has already led Stuttgart in Germany (2009-2010), but also Tottenham (1997-1998), Basel (1999-2009), the Young Boys (2011-2012) and Al-Ahli (October 2019-February 2020), more recently.
