Forbes named the top 200 richest Russians

Forbes has published a ranking of 200 richest Russian businessmen. Their combined wealth amounted to half a trillion dollars – a little more than the annual budget of Australia.

Topped the list the owner of petrochemical holding SIBUR and Chairman of the Board of gas company NOVATEK Leonid Mikhelson. Last year his fortune increased by $ 10 billion and had 24 billion. So with a third place in last year’s rankings, he rose to the first.

Behind him is the leader of the 2018 Vladimir Lisin. Now as the principal owner of Novolipetsk steel and the largest Russian manufacturer of 21.3 billion dollars.

Closes the top three richest Russians Vagit Alekperov. The main oil tycoon of Russia and head of LUKOIL 20.7 billion dollars.

But the old-timer on the Forbes list in the top three was not included. Most probably, the famous Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich now only 12.4 billion dollars. He is at the 10th place.

In the Top 200 billionaires came in and two of the Russians. Is the former owner of the Corporation “Inteko” the spouse eks-the mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov – Baturina with $ 1.2 billion. As well as the founder of the online store Wildberries Tatiana Bakalchuk with $ 1 billion. They are, respectively, 81 and 94.

Forbes notes that this year the rating includes 100 billionaires and 100 millionaires.
